Avoid negative sources, peoples, places, things and habits
Believe in yourself
Consider things from every angle
Don’t give up and don’t give in
Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come.
Family and friends are hidden treasures, seek them and enjoy their riches
Give more than you planned to give
Hang on to your dreams
Ignore those who try to discourage you
Just do it
Keep on trying, No matter how hard it seems, it will get easier
Love yourself first and most
Make it happen
Never lie, cheat, or steal, always strike a fair deal
Open your eyes and see things as they really are
Practice makes perfect
Quitters never win, and winners never quit
Read, study, and learn about everything important in your life.
Stop procrastinating
Take control of your own destiny
Understand yourself in order to better understand others
Visualize it
Want it more than anything
eXcel at doing your best
You can do anything you set out to do
Zero in on your target and go for it

A Bunch Of Roses

Roses ruddy and roses white,
What are the joys that my heart discloses?
Sitting alone in the fading light
Memories come to me here tonight
With the wonderful scent of the big red roses.
Memories come as the daylight fades
Down on the hearth where the firelight dozes;
Flicker and flutter the lights and shades,
And I see the face of a queen of maids
Whose memory comes with the scent of roses.

Visions arise of a scent of mirth,
And a ball-room belle who superbly poses —
A queenly woman of queenly worth,
And I am the happiest man on earth
With a single flower from a bunch of roses.

Only her memory lives tonight —
God in his wisdom her young life closes;
Over her grave may the turf be light,
Cover her coffin with roses white
She was always fond of the big white roses.

Such are the visions that fade away —
Man proposes and God disposes;
Look in the glass and I see today
Only an old man, worn and grey,
Bending his head to a bunch of roses

Perhaps a bit wiser,
a bit kinder, too,
a little bit braver,
a heart that’s more true,
a touch of believing
I’ve not known before,
in joys I’m receiving
a little bit more.

A little more anxious
to reach out my hand,
despite hurt or problems
to still understand,
accepting the heartache
that life often brings,
a little more beauty
in life’s simple things.

A prayer when I’m weary
as onward I trod,
a little more trusting,
believing in God,
’tis this I would wish for
within moments dear,
not a lot – just a little
this wondrous new year.

My Robot Does My Homework

My robot does my homework.
He helps me every night.
The trouble is he doesn't get
too many answers right.

He'd probably do better
at homework but, you see,
I built him, so he only knows
the things he learned from me.

If you do, you will be unhappy.

If you look at what you do not have in life;

You don’t have anything.

If you look at what you have in life;

You have everything.

In the walk of life, do not worry of people moving ahead of you.

Concentrate. Take your own time and be careful not to fall.

But once you are ready to run; make sure you are the best of all.

We need friends for many reasons, all throughout the four seasons.
 
We need friends to comfor us when we are sad, and to have fun with us when we are glad.
 
We need friends to give us good advice. We need someone we can count on to treat us nice.
 
We need friends because we are social in nature and have friends makes us feel secure.
 
We need friends to remember us once we have passed sharing memories that will always last.
